For fans of Hyperion and Game of Thrones who want to discover something new …
Our current reality on planet Earth is plagued by social problems, such as piracy, the sex trade and Death, which seems to constantly undo God’s creations. Are there any powers in the universe which can set humanity onto a more positive path, by cleansing corruption from civilization?
Fuelled by Illithesium—trillions upon trillions of micro-organisms fused into every one of his cells—the humanoid being called Oron has God-like powers. His role is to nurture the futures of civilizations on many planets, by ridding them of undesirable influences under God’s cosmic hierarchy. Yet on Earth, Oron meets a human who teaches him what he has never known: how to act based on emotions rather than pure logic and duty.
Between galactic traveling, the camaraderie of characters, and plot twists, Illithesium is a novel that boasts in its own league. Allow me to pull you away from your day to day duties and open your mind to a world that you seem to understand… but in turn, find out you’re are just a small dot upon a blank white sheet of paper.
Very good story
I bought this book about 2 weeks ago.
The story had my full attention after the first 20 pages or so. It just got better & better.
The author’s use of descriptive words made it easy to visualize the characters.
The storyline is so interesting with its twists & turns that the book is hard to put down, I felt to just keep on reading until I was finished.
The end leaves you hanging waiting for the next book that has to come.
I liked it so much that I bought a copy for a friend & told other friends about it.
