A strange storm blows through the town of Temperanceville, Pennsylvania, population 746.
Heather Crane discovers after the storm that she can hear the thoughts of people around her. A scary condition once she realizes the townsfolk all share a single thought: “Heather Crane must die!”
Is she actually hearing people’s thoughts or only losing her own mind? If she is hearing their true thoughts, then why do the people she’s called friends all of her life want her dead?
She needs answers and wants to run away, but Heather finds that even in a small town no matter where you go there’s always someone around.
Can Heather find the answers she seeks in time, or will the population of Temperanceville soon drop by one…?
